Welcome Baby Mia

It is 2:30 in the morning and even though I have had a collective 4 (maybe 5) hours of sleep over the past two days, and feel like someone beat me between the legs with a baseball bat, I am sitting here updating this blog because I am obsessed. This beautiful new baby has stolen my heart.
I let the nurses take her to the nursery tonight so I could rest and they said they would bring her to me every two hours to nurse. I just woke up at exactly two hours like my subconscious had set some alarm. I layed in bed checking my cell phone clock every 30 seconds for about 2 minutes and then snuck down to the nursery to check on her, too impatient to wait. She's still sleeping. They said they'd bring her to me in another hour and I am just dying to hold her. My eyes are drooping and my body is aching but I can't sleep until I get my fix. I'm addicted. You would be too. She is so delicious. Here are some pics I took of her at only 7 hours old. She looks like a perfect little porcelain doll. My beautiful Mia.
